Biography

Leonard Scuderi is a Distinguished Toastmaster who has been a member of toastmasters for 16 years being achieving a District 69 Award for 15 years continuous membership in 2009. After originally joining as a Charter Member of University Toastmasters in 1994 he moved to join Young Achievers (as it was known then) in 2001. Whilst being a member of Young Achievers Leonard was involved in co-mentoring Sheraton Toastmasters which help him achieve his DTM in 2003. The DTM is the highest recognition in the Toastmasters Educational programme. Leonard has also held the positions of Area Governor (1999-2000) and Division Governor (2000-2001). For year 2010/2011 Leonard is Vice President Public Relations of Young Achievers @ QUT Toastmasters Club, Assistant Division Governor Education and Training for Metropolitan Division, and Club Sponsor for Commonwealth Bank Toastmasters Club in formation.

Leonard is a firm believer that the Competent Communication Manual is the building block of becoming a better communicator.
